Texas Health Care, a multispecialty physician group practice, has added nine new physician members: Ryan Balogh, M.D. (General Surgery), Brittney Culp, M.D. (General and Acute Care Surgery), Paul Gray, M.D., (General Surgery), Abdul Keylani, M.D., (Cardiology), Jennifer McLeland, M.D. (Obstetrics and Gynecology), Mallikarjuna Mukka, M.D. (Internal Medicine), Sam J. Nassar, D.O. (Cardiology), Jeremy P. Parcells (General and Bariatric Surgery) and Mohanakrishnan Sathyamoorthy, M.D. (Cardiology).

Texas Health Care is different from many physician groups, because it has no outside ownership interest. Its physicians are members, not employees – they work only for themselves and their patients. Physicians are able to take advantage of the comprehensive administrative support that Texas Health Care provides for all of its members, allowing them to focus on health care. In addition, all physicians – even the newest members – have an equal say in the governance of the group.
Ryan Balogh, M.D., is a General Surgeon in Grapevine and graduate of the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. Dr. Balogh completed his residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, where he received the Baylor Scott and White Resident Research Poster Award in 2015. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons.
Brittney Culp, M.D., is a General and Acute Care Surgeon who also practices in Grapevine. She earned her medical degree from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center School of Medicine and completed her residency at Baylor University Medical Center. Dr. Culp views medicine as both science and art, which is what inspired her to become a physician. She believes that the “art of medicine” has been lacking and wants to bring that back to the profession.
Paul Gray, M.D., FACS is a General Surgeon with a practice in Fort Worth. He earned his medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine in Kentucky and completed his residency in general surgery at Baylor University Medical Center. Dr. Gray is board certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery and previously practiced as a trauma/urgent care surgeon in Dallas. As a general surgeon, Dr. Gray is passionate about addressing a range of general surgical issues across all age groups, and takes pride in using minimally invasive surgical techniques to improve recovery time and post-operative pain.
Abdul Keylani, M.D. is a Fort Worth Cardiologist. He graduated from medical school in Aleppo, Syria and completed an Internal Medicine residency, Cardiology Fellowship and Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine program at Hartford hospital in Connecticut. Dr. Keylani tends to all aspects of cardiac patient care, from physical examination to placing a stent. He interprets nuclear stress tests, as well as heart ultrasound, peripheral vascular ultrasound, with comprehensive cardiac care.
Jennifer McLeland, M.D. is a doctor of Obstetrics and Gynecology with practices in Fort Worth and Willow Park. She earned her undergraduate and medical degrees at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia and completed her residency at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Dr. McLeland is passionate about all aspects of women’s health and is especially interested in minimally invasive surgery, adolescent gynecology and high-risk obstetrics.
Mallikarjuna Reddy Mukka, M.D. is a doctor of Internal Medicine and Hospitalist. Dr. Mukka attended medical school at Gandhi Medical College, Hyderabad, India. He later completed a residency program in Internal Medicine at Saint Barnabas Hospital, Bronx, New York. Dr. Mukka moved to Fort Worth in 2004 after completing his residency program. He has extensive experience as a Hospitalist and primary care physician working at several hospitals in the Fort Worth area.
Sam J. Nassar, D.O. is a board certified Cardiologist with a practice in Fort Worth that is actively accepting patients. Dr. Nassar earned his medical degree from Michigan State University and completed an Internal Medicine residency and Cardiology Fellowship there. He prides himself on demonstrating compassion to his patients and providing them with state of the art, personalized care. Dr. Nassar is an Eagle Scout and a Fellow of both the American College of Cardiology and the American College of Osteopathic Internists.
Jeremy P. Parcells, M.D. is a General and Bariatric Surgeon with a practice in Mansfield. Dr. Parcells attended the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and completed his residency at the University of Kentucky in Lexington. Dr. Parcells completed a fellowship at University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, where he was trained in minimally invasive and bariatric surgery. He is a practicing surgeon with privileges at Methodist Mansfield Medical Center, Baylor Surgicare of Mansfield, USMD Hospital in Arlington, Medical Center of Arlington and Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital. Dr. Parcells is board certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery and the Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery.
Mohanakrishnan Sathyamoorthy, M.D. – “Dr. Mo” – is a board certified Cardiologist practicing in Fort Worth. A native of Potsdam, New York, Dr. Mo earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering and Master of Science in Engineering from Johns Hopkins University. He went on to earn his medical degree with distinction in research from the SUNY Stony Brook School of Medicine. He currently serves as the Vice Chief of the Medical Staff and Chief of the Cardiovascular Division at Baylor All Saints Medical Center, and also serves as the Medical Director of Cardiology at Baylor Heart and Vascular Hospital Fort Worth. Dr. Mo practices all aspects of general and invasive cardiology, and is nationally recognized in the fields of cardiovascular thrombosis and echocardiography. Dr. Mo has served as the President of the Board of Directors of the Tarrant County Division of the North Texas Chapter of the American Heart Association for the last several years.
