“I enjoy surgery because it allows me to provide my patients with immediate solutions to their healthcare concerns. My interest in medicine began in high school when I was given the opportunity to watch a surgery. It was at that moment that I knew I wanted to pursue a career as a surgeon. However, it wasn’t until during my surgical training that I developed an interest in bariatric surgery, as I realized what a potent and life-changing tool it can be for patients.”
